I sent this as a gift to my sister. When my family stayed with her over the summer, she was using a meat tenderizer to mash her potatoes! It was funny to watch. I have other Best Manufacturers products and knew this one would be good. Very nice stainless and good weight in your hand. The price is great too.

The Standard Masher from Best Manufacturers is a perfectly balanced tool which allows the home cook to control the texture - finely mashed or smashed to just-the-right lump size. All purpose 10-inch masher has a wide 4.5-inch serpentine-style stainless steel mashing wire with a 7/8-inch chrome handle. The handle is completely sealed with epoxy to eliminate any area where food may lodge and water may enter, making it more sanitary and easy-to-clean. Dishwasher safe. 10-inch length.This 10-inch standard masher instills the control needed to achieve perfectly textured potatoes or sweet potatoes, whether you're pining for smoothly mashed or simply bashed to lumpy pieces. The masher sports a wide, 4-1/2-inch serpentine-style wire. Its heavy-gauge, high-tensile stainless steel is rustproof and epoxy sealed for sanitation, and the chrome handle is weighted to give you better control and comfort.
